About Lazercat
Made up here, by us.
Lazercat is a small crew growing and making solventless hash at 10,000 feet in Colorado’s Arapaho National Forest. Everything with our name on it was grown, washed, pressed and packed by us.

We picked the hard spot on purpose.
We bought the land in 2015 and spent two years designing and building on it. What came out is an 18,000-square-foot greenhouse and warehouse hybrid. The polycarbonate walls and roof let real sunlight in, supplemental lights fill the gaps, and cool mountain air comes in through intakes and fans instead of traditional AC.
Getting here wasn’t simple. In 2017 a helicopter set the last power pole so we could get three-phase power up the mountain. The driveway is half a mile long and steep, and the neighbors are moose, bears and mountain lions. Winters bring some epic storms and a whole lot of nonstop plowing, and the crew’s inclement team makes the calls and grabs the shovels. During the big one in March 2024, one of the owners was stuck up here alone for three days and two nights, plowing and keeping the greenhouse running on the generator.

Nothing comes in from outside.
We don’t buy flower or hash from other growers. Every jar, cart and all-in-one starts as a plant in one of our four grow bays.
Plants are frozen right after harvest. The bubble room crew washes them in super cold, crystal-infused water to knock the trichomes loose, then freeze-dries the hash and keeps it frozen until it’s time to press. We press as late as we can, because pressing early costs flavor. No solvents, no cutting agents, no added terpenes.
Before anything gets packed, our sampling team tastes it. If it tastes like a maybe, it doesn’t make the cut. Batches are also tested by a state-licensed lab more than once, and we test the terps too. The state doesn’t require that one, we just want to know.
What we care about
Art. Art has been part of Lazercat since day one. Our designs pull textures and shapes from real photos of our hash and the mountains around us, and we collaborate with and sponsor artists we love, from glassblowers to the people who wear our gear.
Giving back. A lot of the people who built this industry are still in prison for cannabis. We support the Last Prisoner Project every month, and we hope you’ll check out their work too.
Our crew. None of this works without the people up here. They make it up the driveway in a snowstorm, keep the bubble room running, taste every batch on the sampling team, and look out for each other while they do it. We do our best to take care of them too.
